About Us

Hello and welcome!

We are Vicky and Ian, and we moved out to Goxhill back in 2005 from Sheffield. Our house was a project (to say the least) but the thing that attracted us to the property was the land which came with it... being from Sheffield, having land with your property was very hard to come by.

Our attention soon turned to the land and being keen campers ourselves, we decided to make the paddock into a caravan site. In 2013 we started working on the basic infrastructure required, to make our guests comfortable and in May 2014 we welcomed our first lovely guests.

We haven't looked back since and the campsite went from strength to strength. We have met some fabulous people over the years, some of whom have become true friends. 

We continue to develop the site and in 2021 we purchased some extra land in order to be able to offer fixed holiday accommodation.

The conception of Hot Tub Retreat came from our own experiences of holidaying in static caravans with dogs. We wanted to be able to offer dog friendly accommodation, where our guests' fur babies didn't have to be tethered...hence the secure garden. 

We still have some great ideas and plans for the site, so watch this space.
